Snow Day!

To our Californian blog readers (aka our dear family),
I am sure you have heard about our blizzard and record
breaking snowfall. And as you sit outside on the patio, the
warm sun kissing your face...ok, so really, as you work your
regular hours because no one has ever heard of taking a Sun Day,
think of us as we watch the snow fall, bake biscotti, lounge in pjs
until noon, and sip hot cocoa after romping in the snow...
Michigan does have a few advantages :)

All the gezellig (a nod to our Dutch roots) talk aside, and
despite flushing ice cubes down the toilet, wearing his pjs inside
out (and backward just for good measure), and sleeping with a
spoon under his pillow, Brian did not have even a 2 hour delay
for his commute to his office in the basement this morning and
was not able to take advantage of the lazy day with the rest of us.
